I want to play them from my computer, through a D-link to my flatscreen tv. I'm wired to do this but D-link doesn't recognize avi format. What would be the best to convert to? D-link plays everything else... no mov though.

Thanks

This is the default video format in Digital Media Converter.

WMV gives the highest quality and a very reasonable file size.

Select "WMV - for Desktop Viewing" from the Convert to format drop-down list in the Settings.
