<![CDATA[Error when trying to use IP Camera]]>I have a Sweex JA200010 IP camera which I am trying to setup within Webcam Monitor although am getting an error when trying to save. Its not in the list of cameras therefore I specify that it is a Generic Camera.

I have entered the correct IP address, Port number, specified the URL as https://IP_ADDRESS:8080/Jpeg/CamImg.jpg

When I click OK, it comes up with:

Unable to obtain the JPGEG stream from the IP camera settings. Make sure that the settings are correct before continuing. Do you want to continue adding the IP camera anyway?

I say Yes and it returns me to the previous form but it does not add the camera to the list.

You have to remove the "https://IP_ADDRESS:8080" part and give only "/Jpeg/CamImg.jpg". That should solve your problem.
