I just converted a dvr-ms file to an avi.  I played it and all is well except there are like pixel blocks in the screen.  Everything isn't as clear as before when it was dvr-ms</p>

<p dir="auto">In our tests, we have found the following settings that will improve the quality.</p>
<ol>
<li>Use the Indeo or Cinepak video compressors. They offer the best quality</li>
<li>Reduce the Key Frame Rate to 8 frames or lower for better AVI seeking</li>
<li>Keep the Frame Rate as close as possible to the original video's frame rate</li>
<li>Keep the AVI video dimension same as the original video</li>
<li>Increase the quality setting to between 80% and 90%</li>
<li>Select uncompressed audio</li>
